We explored the future of food and what it means to eat healthy in today's society. We wanted to figure out a better way help people who want to eat healthy and make the right choices about what they are consuming.

Currently, more people are realizing that they need to eat healthier.

However, from misinformation from the food industry, to bad eating traditions that go back generations, people do not have the tools and knowledge to develop a sustainable healthy diet for themselves.

The goal of The Food Pharmacy is to focus on the behaviors and influencers that affect our eating decisions. We want to make it easier for people to make healthy eating choices by identifying barriers and providing the tools, knowledge, and techniques to overcome them.

Final Result

Insights and Opportunities

The consistent feedback we got was that the storefront experience was where the innovation was. People consistently felt strongly about that experience. The question that arose from this learning was how do you reach people and communities that have food deserts or are under served. The “pop up” idea solved that issue and helped form our MVP.


Now that we have settled on our MVP, our focus will turn to the food kits. The user feedback demonstrated that the food kits are the building blocks for everything else in our experience. From there, we will plan an produce our prototype for the pop experience.
